Mr. Fashion 2008

Now for a few pictures displaying James' new found fashion sense.

These first two photos portray James as a "burrito."

Open-eyed Burrito James

Close-Eyed Burrito James

On Friday, Natasha took James on his first post-hospital excursion...back to the hospital! And boy was he stylin' in his sweet cardigan.

As you can see, the beanie adds an additional flare that has a melting effect on the heart.

Just chillin'.

James' First Bed

James really enjoyed his plastic tub at the hospital.

He really liked the walls...

And preferred the bottom half to the top half.

Full Body Shots

If the head shots didn't convince you of his supreme cuteness, then these full body shots surely will.

Head Shots

You must admit, he is pretty much the cutest baby you've ever seen.

Check out those man hands! He'll be palming an official size basketball by week 4!

First Bath

Here is James preparing for his first bath in the hospital.

In this picture, it appears that he has come to terms with the idea of "a bath."

Ahhhh...fresh and clean. Here he is on the warming table. The little shiny thing on his stomach is monitoring his spleen...NOT.

James observes his new environment and assesses the possibilities.

The Moment We've All Been Waiting For...

That's right friends and family...after a slightly (but fashionably) late arrival, James has finally joined Jordan and Natasha outside the womb to complete the Cullimore Trifecta!

James Jordan Cullimore came into the world on Monday, March 24, 2008 at 4:59 pm. His stats include a weight of 8 lbs. 11 oz. and a length of 21 in. Impressive...yet modest. Well executed James.

Now for the pictures. This is James on the check-the-vitals-and-the-breathing-and-put-the-ointment-in-the
-eyes-to-make-sure-he-is-healthy-and-happy table. (Personally I feel they need to shorten the name of the table a bit, but I'm not a doctor, so I have no authority.)

I applaud your modesty James.

At last, after a relatively long, yet well handled labor Natasha is comfortable and the Cullimore family is three!

Incessant Waiting

As you have most likely surmised, Natasha's due date has come and gone and Baby Cullimore has yet to emerge. This post is to confirm these beliefs and let you know that we haven't forgotten to call you, we just have nothing to call you about.

Thank You.

Reflections on Fatherhood

In light of the fact that Natasha is one day away from her due date, I would like to take a moment and invite you on a journey through the synapses of my brain as I consider what it will be like to be a father:

blip....................blip...............blip......blip......................blip

OK, so it appears that nothing TOO exciting is going on in there...but I am excited to be a father! Just the other day I was showing Natasha all the different ways I will be able to swing and spin the little guy in our car seat and stroller. It's going to be awesome. After such rigorous training he will never get dizzy, never experience motion sickness, and never throw up. Please understand that this is but one aspect of my "Path to Manhood" training program. When I'm done, he'll be so manly that a curling iron will break into twenty pieces if you try to curl his hair, and a nightgown will spontaneously combust into oblivion if you try to dress him in one. That's right...I will make him Mom, Cindy, and Tiffany proof! HA!

PREGNANCY PROGRESSION: WEEK 39

That's right, 39 weeks. FOUR days from the little man's official due date.

PREGNANCY PROGRESSION: WEEK 38

This constitutes the first visual record of Natasha with a FULL-TERM pregnancy belly. She's ready to deliver when you are Baby Cullimore!

PREGNANCY PROGRESSION: WEEK 36

This week's photo also displays Natasha's pregnancy dress. It is the only dress she has that fits while she is pregnant, thus it is the only dress she currently wears.
