The Great Outdoors

This morning David and I went up to Wasatch State Park above Midway and participated in a morning of snow-shoeing. It was great fun, and the landscape was beautiful!

Here is David, in search of the ever-illusive world's largest deer (or elk?) Unfortunately, the area was somewhat void of big game as far as we could tell.

The beautiful landscape I promised.

Oooooo...pretty.

More pretty.

Lookin' good Dave.

Good times. It was a great outing. During the course of our hike I also realized how out of shape I have become. About a third of the way up the trail we hit a steeper part that made me a little winded. When we stopped to take a rest I became slightly light-headed and momentarily felt like I needed to throw up...but don't worry, I didn't. After the rest, I broke through the "endurance barrier," as I like to refer to it, and it was smooth sailing from there on out.

Pretty pics Jordan. I'm so jealous! Snow shoeing sounds great right now.

You should probably lay off the fruitcake my friend, and anything else on the workroom table!
