Natasha's Every Night Prom Hair

Now that things have settled down since Christmas, I thought I would take the opportunity to post some things that I have been meaning to post.

I present to you, the thing on top of Natasha's head every night before we go to bed! (Did you catch the rhyming?) Every night (before she cut her hair) Natasha would put her hair up in preparation for bed, and this was the result. We (meaning I, Jordan) have come to the conclusion that it is a cross between a sort of prom hairstyle and a small Caribbean octopus, wouldn't you agree? Needless to say, its gorgeous.

PREGNANCY PROGRESSION: WEEK 28

Week 28 of Natasha's progression towards motherhood comes on the heels of not one, but two haircuts...on the same day. Wow, that is a sweet haircut. (Actually, this was taken during the time between the first and the second, so if you think this one looks good, just wait until you see her now... HOLY COW!)

After a temporary hiatus from the blogosphere, the Cullimores RETURN. Without further adieu, Natasha at 25 weeks. Lookin' good!

Where shall he lay his head?

So, my wonderful boss gave us her bedding and decorations from her last baby. It is really cute stuff. I am excited, because I wanted to go with an animal theme and that's what she happened to have and the big bonus was that it was free! (Please notice the cute hanging animal mobile at the top center of the above picture).

They are stuffed animals and they like it (see the smiles), so this isn't inhumane.

IT'S A BOY!!!

The ultrasound was on Monday. Our little one fooled pretty much everyone. The general consensus before the ultrasound was that the baby was a girl. Apparently, we and those we know and love don't really have a sense for this sort of thing. It seems pretty obvious from the physical evidence that we are having a boy...but we'll let you decide based on the evidence provided.

Jordan is of the belief that he can only produce males...I guess his position holds for now. He was beaming when we left the doctor's office. I believe his words were something to the effect that he was going to tape the ultrasound pictures to his chest and strut around campus. (I took the pictures with me).

It was a really incredible experience seeing our baby. Words really can't express the feeling. The Nurse Practitioner reported that all of his parts were developing properly. He was an active little one during the ultrasound. At the time, I was 19 weeks 5 days and he was measuring 20 weeks 3 days. They don't change the due date if it is within a week though. Jordan is happy to know that he is measuring big. Thank you, by the way, to all of those who have offered to help in the fattening process.
