Anniversary #2

Natasha and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary on January 3rd. (I understand that it has been some time since said date, better late than never!) In other words, we are now seasoned veterans of the art of marriage because we obviously have extensive knowledge about marriage due to the amount of time we have been married. If you have any marriage related questions, don't hesitate to ask...

To celebrate, I went back up to Wasatch Park, and I brought Natasha with me!

The obligatory picture of me...

And now for Natasha...looking good, pretty lady!

Work it! Ow ow!

Delicious! Grrrrrrrr!

After Natasha's professional photo shoot, we went up to Heber City and dined at the exclusive establishment known as Dairy Keen; we decided to splurg since the anniversary only comes once a year. (The semi-colon is for you Scott, I hope I played it well.) Needless to say, it was a swell day.

The Great Outdoors

This morning David and I went up to Wasatch State Park above Midway and participated in a morning of snow-shoeing. It was great fun, and the landscape was beautiful!

Here is David, in search of the ever-illusive world's largest deer (or elk?) Unfortunately, the area was somewhat void of big game as far as we could tell.

The beautiful landscape I promised.

Oooooo...pretty.

More pretty.

Lookin' good Dave.

Good times. It was a great outing. During the course of our hike I also realized how out of shape I have become. About a third of the way up the trail we hit a steeper part that made me a little winded. When we stopped to take a rest I became slightly light-headed and momentarily felt like I needed to throw up...but don't worry, I didn't. After the rest, I broke through the "endurance barrier," as I like to refer to it, and it was smooth sailing from there on out.

UFO SIGHTING

OK...Natasha and I have been reluctant to release these photographs, but we have concluded that the world MUST know, and it is not our right to keep them from the general public.

These pictures were taken on our way back from St. George over Thanksgiving break. They speak for themselves, thus they need no explanation. You be the judge.

The Story of a Boy

I would like to share with you a story about a boy who wears glasses. His name is Jordan. Jordan had a pair of glasses, and these glasses allowed him to see. But one day, while he was cleaning his glasses off, one of the nose pads suddenly broke off! Jordan was sad, but he soon discovered that he could still wear his glasses with minimal discomfort, thus all was not forever lost.

Soon after this, Jordan and his dear wife Natasha went to Costco and picked out a new pair of glasses. They found the frames they liked and ordered them, only to discover that it would take a week for them to get in. This, however, was just fine because Jordan still had a functioning, yet mildly uncomfortable, pair of glasses.

But the story does not end here. The outlook seemed bright for brave little Jordan, but then tragedy struck. A few days after the glasses were ordered, Jordan was doing his school work. He had just finished a paper and was looking things over when Natasha came in to see what he was doing. Jordan had placed his glasses on the table in front of him, but Natasha did not notice this. As she bent over to look at the screen of the computer she placed her elbows on the table to brace herself, and SNAP!

Oh No! Jordan's glasses were wrecked beyond repair! Natasha was very sorry and Jordan was also sad...

Luckily, only a few days passed until the glorious arrival of Jordan's brand new glasses.

Again, Jordan could see, and he and Natasha lived happily ever after.

The End
