Big News

Jordan's Law School
The time has come for the Cullimore family to explore the far reaches of the North American continent. For at least three years, we will participate in an expedition to the "Hub City of the Plains." Yes, my friends, we will be located at 33.577 N latitude and -101.854 longitude. We will depart from the #1 most conservative city in the United States and make our home in the #2 most conservative city in the United States. We will bask in the beauty of a land in which we can attend events such as the National Cowboy Symposium and Celebration, the Flatland Film Festival, and the South Plains Fair. We will spend our time admiring such historic sites as the American Wind Power Center and the Ranching Heritage Center. If you would like further information on our soon-to-be home or Jordan's law school, you might try picking up the next edition of the Daily Toreador. If you come to visit us, we just might take you to the Joyland Amusement Park or the Buddy Holly Center.

(Where oh where will we be living? What university will Jordan be attending? Please post your answers in the Comments section. We may or may not have a prize for the first person who answers correctly.)

Ode to Grandpa Gary: A Poetic Tribute

There once was a man called my dad
A son his dear daughter had
She blogged of her baby
He asked, pics with me, maybe?
So, pictures with dad, she did add

And here's one with my cute brother. :)

Notice Baby James' gear. The Travis Pastrana motocross outfit was given to him by my dad and brother as it is their sport of choice. I would also like to mention his mittens (or hand socks as you may like to call them) that can been seen in various pictures. These pictures were taken before his nails were cut for the first time, thus the hand socks were needed for protection. We couldn't be taking Baby James to the hospital for flesh wounds now could we?

For Tiffany

Thank you to Tiffany for remembering the one-month anniversary of our last post. In honor of this special occasion, we shall blog. Here is a picture of James at 4 weeks sporting the adorable outfit his Aunt Tiffany bought for him.

The following pictures document James doing what he does best: being cute. :)

You may have noticed that James is wearing a bib in all three of the above shots. This came as a result of Jordan's brilliant mind. During the first week or two of James' life, I noticed a pattern:

Feed the baby James. Move burp cloth from under baby James' head to put on shoulder. Spit up lands on Mommy and/or baby James' clean clothes. Burp cloth remains dry on Mommy's shoulder. Mommy moves baby to shoulder for burping. Baby James burps and spits up. Mommy moves baby James from shoulder to look in awe at the adorableness of baby James. Baby James spits up. Spit up lands on Mommy and/or baby James. Burp cloth did not quite make it, yet again. Mommy must change baby James' outfit again due to spit up explosion.

As I was talking to Jordan one day about my findings, Jordan had a thought...a very simple yet awe-inspiring thought...the baby James could wear a bib during feeding time. This proved to be the answer. Mommy and baby James now very rarely get spit up on their clothes. The burp cloth and bib make a great team. Thank you Jordan!

Mr. Fashion 2008

Now for a few pictures displaying James' new found fashion sense.

These first two photos portray James as a "burrito."

Open-eyed Burrito James

Close-Eyed Burrito James

On Friday, Natasha took James on his first post-hospital excursion...back to the hospital! And boy was he stylin' in his sweet cardigan.

As you can see, the beanie adds an additional flare that has a melting effect on the heart.

Just chillin'.

James' First Bed

James really enjoyed his plastic tub at the hospital.

He really liked the walls...

And preferred the bottom half to the top half.

Full Body Shots

If the head shots didn't convince you of his supreme cuteness, then these full body shots surely will.
